 Welcome to the VitalCraft Skyblock Wiki! This guide provides you with everything you need to know about starting and thriving on our Skyblock server.

Getting Started

VitalCraft Skyblock Seasons last 3 months. On the last day of that third month the server will shut down for maintenance and will open back up with a cleared map for the new season. All islands and player data will be completely reset. At the end of each season, the player with the most value ( /is top) will win a VitalCraft giftcard redeemable at store.vitalcraft.org. 

When you first join Skyblock, you will start with:

• Basic Island: Do /is create to create an island with essential resources to kickstart your journey. We have three types of starter islands available: Deserted Wasteland, Spacious Zen, and Humble Beginnings. To change islands, use /is disband, but be warned that it will delete EVERYTHING associated with that island and we will not replace items or anything associated with island disbanding.
• Starter Kit: When you join into the server for the first time you will start with some armor, tools, food, $5000 and valuables such as a water bucket, lava bucket (to help start your ore generator) and some diamonds OR emeralds to help you get started. Use /kits to claim your free kits and view the donator kits. 
• Help: Use /serverguide and /island for further help.

Using Your Cobblestone Generator

• Build a Cobblestone Generator: Set up a basic cobblestone generator to start producing cobblestone. We have examples located at /spawn if you need help with how to build them and get started. You can also use /is upgrades to upgrade the percentage chance of each ore that you get out of your ore generator.
• Generating Income: Sell the cobblestone and other ores that you produce to the /shop and earn money. Use these funds to expand your island and purchase /upgrades.

Economy

• Earning Money: Generate income through fishing, farming, trading, completing quests, and mining your ore generators. You can also win money from the crates at spawn and the pvp envoys within the pvp arena. 
• Server Shop: Sell items in the server shop to accumulate in-game currency and invest in island upgrades and purchase value blocks. (/shop)

Challenges

• Quests: Complete various quests (/is quests) to earn rewards and unlock new features. Quests are a great way to advance and enhance your island. 
• Fishing and Farming Tournaments: Keep an eye in the chat for Fishing and Farming Tournaments. The winners receive special rewards. 

Island Levels and Value

• Island Levels: Progress through island levels as you accumulate and place value blocks. The more value blocks that you have placed the higher your island level will be. 
• Island Value Blocks: There are 9 Minecraft blocks that serve as value blocks. You can see your Island value using /is value. In order of value, they are : 

                      - Coal Block = 1 point

                      - Lapis Block = 2 points

                      - Redstone Block = 3 points

                      - Copper Block = 6 points

                      - Iron Block = 12 points 

                      - Gold Block = 25 points

                      - Diamond Block = 100 points

                      - Emerald Block = 150 points

                      - Netherite Block = 1000 points 

Island Crystals

• Acquiring Crystals: Obtain Island Crystals through island quests (/is quests), pvp envoys (/warp arena), crates, the Dragon Event and the VitalCraft Store (https://store.vitalcraft.org)
• Usage: Spend crystals at the Crystal Shop to:
  • Purchase unique items such as sell wands and spawners.
  • Unlock special features
  • Enhance your island’s capabilities

Island Upgrades

• Upgrades: Invest in upgrades to further develop your island's functionality and appearance. Upgrades include hopper increases, spawner boosters, crop growth speeds, island border size, ore generators, increased loot drops, and island member size. Go to /is upgrades to get to the upgrade menu.

PvP Arena

• PvP Arena: Engage in player versus player combat in our designated PvP arena.
• Envoys: Participate in periodic envoys within the arena for a chance to earn lucrative rewards. *Event only triggers with a minimum of 4 people online.

Commands

Here’s a comprehensive list of commands to help you manage your island:

• /is: Opens the main Island GUI.
• /is bank: Opens the Island bank.
• /is values: Shows your islands current value block count.
• /is border: Changes the Island's border color.
• /is create: Shows the Island creation GUI.
• /is delete: Deletes the Island.
• /is demote: Demotes a member of the Island.
• /is deposit: Deposits into the Island bank.
• /is fly: Toggles Island flight for purchased ranks.
• /is home: Teleports to the Island home.
• /is info: Shows information about the current Island.
• /is invite: Invites a player to join the Island.
• /is join: Joins an island.
• /is kick: Kicks a player from the Island.
• /is leave: Leaves the Island.
• /is members: View the Island members.
• /is quests: View the Island quests.
• /is permissions: Edit the Island members' permissions.
• /is promote: Promotes an island member.
• /is setwarp: Creates an Island warp.
• /is delwarp: Deletes an Island warp.
• /is editwarp: Edits an Island warp.
• /is top: Displays the top Islands.
• /is transfer: Transfers Island ownership to another player.
• /is trust: View the trusted members.
• /is untrust: Removes a player from the list of trusted players.
• /is upgrades: Opens the Island upgrades GUI.
• /is visit: Visits another player's Island.
• /is warp: Opens the Island warps GUI.
• /is withdraw: Withdraws from the Island bank.
